About me
Trevis Brooks is an African American Artist/Creative that has given his life to youth work.
He is a Cambridge native that has strong roots in the community. He was a child of afterschool programs also. He attended the Community Art Center when it was in Newtown Court housing projects to become the Visual Arts teacher for the Art Center and was a part of the Rising to the Top film group that created the Do it Your Damn self-film festival. Trevis is also a graduate of The Museum School of Fine Arts and helped create programs like the City
Peace and the successful Boys to Men program that has now become a staple in the youth center community for 11 years. Trevis has worked in all 5 of the city’s youth centers and has partnered with other programs run by the city as well. He currently continues to work as a strong lead youth worker with the Morse Elementary Afterschool and the Moses Youth Center.
